We developed a conservation nursery in the area which is part of restoring forrest from illegal logging. Since 2003, Reforestation 57,734 trees has been planted.

Sumatera Elephant

Elephant populations were decimated by habitat loss and hunting throughout growing human population in the region.

Sumatera Rhino
(Dicerorhinus Sumatrensis)
Loss of habitat remains a major threat to the Sumatran Rhinoceros; many small populations are now isolated and may be prone to inbreeding depression causing genetic erosion and ultimately, extinction. The demand for rhino horn as an constituent in Asian traditional medicines has led to extreme hunting pressure.
